My name is Lia Kalatzi, and through ceramics I explore the relationship between humans, nature, and material. The name Ceralia comes from the word ceramics combined with my name, Lia.
My work is rooted in the handmade process, in attention to detail, and in respect for the natural elements that give life to clay.
Each object is created as a calm act of connection — with time, with the hands, and with raw material — conveying a sense of warmth, balance, and evolution.
Our logo was born from the very process of ceramics itself: the relationship between humans, water, and clay.
The spiral form works abstractly like two hands embracing water. It expresses the movement of the wheel, the continuous flow and transformation of matter, while at the same time conveying a sense of care and protection.
Water — a fundamental element of creation — becomes the center of this embrace, the place where the life of clay begins.
This embrace embodies the human element: the connection between the creator and the material, the gesture, the intention, and the care required for each piece.
The spiral, without beginning or end, symbolizes continuous evolution, learning, and the ongoing dialogue between nature and humanity.
At our studio, ceramics become an experience, a form of creation, and a means of expression.
